The purpose of this activity was to introduce children to crafts that
are functional, can be used after being created. We created bracelets
using color, texture, and pattern as our elements and principles of
art.

Extension Activity
This activity could be used as an introductory activity as well for older children. They all have to make x (the number of students + teacher in the class) number of beads then they go around the room and talk to each student, getting know everyone in the class. After they have gotten to know that person they exchange beads creating a bracelet with one bead from each student in the class.
